THE SERVANT
Hi, I'm Dedrick Wright
I was born and raised in Louisiana, nurtured by my parents, Bishop Harold Wright and Missionary Wanda Wright, who provided me with a Christian upbringing. Despite my father's long tenure as a pastor spanning over 65 years and my consistent attendance at church during my earlier years, it was only in my later years that I submitted to the word of God. Only then could I truly comprehend and embrace God's word.

The catalyst for me to go deeper into God's Word was in the latter part of 2019 during my youngest sister's sickness. It led me to question life and death like never before. Despite having a rudimentary knowledge of Christ, I realized that I had never thoroughly read the Bible from beginning to end to develop my own comprehension.

At that time, my understanding was derived from the knowledge of others or the long-standing customs and beliefs of the majority transmitted through generations. Recognizing this, I surrendered control of my life to God and submitted to His divine plan for my life. I dedicated myself to engaging in extensive reading and rigorous study to comprehend the character of God and His benevolent actions toward humanity. It was then that I began to understand the reality of life and salvation in God during my time in His word.
By the end of 2021, after many years of running from my calling, I had embraced the calling to serve in the ministry, received the gift of ordination from my father, and cultivated an overwhelming passion for teaching others the simple and profound truth of God's Word.
